Method of Use
Take this drug directly as prescribed by your doctor. Normally 20mg of Acomplia is taken once a day, preferably before breakfast.

Missed dose
If you have forgotten your Acomplia dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you need to take next dose within short period of time, skip the missed one. Taking two doses at one time is prohibited.

More Information
Apart from reducing craving for food, Acomplia can be used as a stop smoking solution. If used properly, this drug shouldn't involve into your ability to drive or perform other potentially unsafe actions. However take this drug with caution until you can be sure your reaction to it is normal. Do not change your prescribed Acomplia dosage without consulting your health care provider. Do not share this drug with others for whom it's not prescribed.

Storage
Acomplia should be kept at a room temperature of 77 °F (25 °C). Try to keep a container with medicine away from direct light, heat and moisture. Storing in bathroom is prohibited. Keep this drug away from pets and children.

Warnings and Precautions
Acomplia should be user with caution by some patients, so make sure you provide your doctor with medical history, especially if you are allergic to some medicines or any ingredient in Acomplia, if you suffer from sever renal problems, have impaired liver, or you go through epilepsy treatment.

This drug is not recommended for pregnant and nursing mothers.

Patients who are allergic to lactose note Acomplia contains it.

Acomplia can cause drug interactions, so tell your doctor of all drugs you use including dietary supplements, over-the-counter drugs and herbal remedies.

In order to get the most from this drug you should apply weight loss program. It will not only help to get rid of extra kilograms, but also play significant role in maintaining your ideal weight for a long time.

While being on Acomplia make sure you keep all doctor and lab appointments. A series of tests should be performed to monitor your progress and make sure you don't develop any side effects. Your lab tests should normally include blood pressure check, weight monitoring, pulse monitoring and any other tests depending on your health condition.

Acomplia shouldn’t be used on children and teenagers. Medical studies concerning safety for these age groups have not been conducted.

Side Effects

Side effects are not likely to appear. Usually patients have the following mild to moderate side effects: diarrhea, insomnia, respiratory tract infection, dizziness and fatigue. If one or more side effects become bothersome or last too long, contact your health provider.

In rare cases more serious side effects can appear. Call emergency or contact your doctor right away if you have any signs of allergic reaction (swelling of tongue, mouth, lips or face; rash and hives; problems with breathing; tightness in chest), depression, anxiety, disorientation, irregular or fast heartbeat, seizures, abnormal sweating, stomach upset, muscle spasms or cramps.
